We connect Cary-area homeowners with independent crawl space contractors, and we are straightforward about which of those two things we are.
How this works
You call the number on this site or send the form. The inquiry goes to an independent crawl space contractor covering your part of western Wake County, and they contact you directly to arrange an on-site evaluation.
That contractor holds the license and insurance, performs the work, quotes the price and is who you contract with. We are not a party to the job. We do not take a cut of it, we do not mark it up, and we have no say in what you are quoted.
Why this site exists
Crawl space work is unusually hard to shop for. The same word covers jobs that differ by a factor of three, most of the decision concerns a space you will never look into, and the person quoting the work is also the person diagnosing it.
So these pages are organized around the diagnosis rather than around a product. They say plainly when encapsulation is not the right answer, when covering the ground is enough on its own, and when a drainage problem is being sold as a sealing problem. That is more useful to a homeowner than another page insisting somebody is the best.
What we do not claim
Several things you would normally expect on a contractor website are deliberately absent here, and their absence is the honest position rather than an oversight.
- No years in business, project counts or team photographs. This site is new. Inventing a history would be easy and it would also be a lie.
- No reviews or testimonials. There are none to publish. Fabricated ones are worse than none and are the easiest thing in this industry to spot.
- No license or certification numbers of our own. The contractors we route to hold their own. We hold none, because we do not perform the work.
- No physical office address and no business hours. We do not operate a location, so we do not list one.
- No warranty, guarantee or financing. Those come from the contractor doing the work, and the terms are theirs to state.

What to verify before hiring anyone
Whoever you end up hiring — through this site or not — these are the checks worth making.
- What did they measure? Moisture content readings on the framing, at more than one point. A recommendation made without numbers is an opinion, however confident.
- Is the scope in sequence? Water first, structure second, sealing and drying last. A bundled figure against one word hides which of those is actually included.
- Which drying method, at what capacity? R409.5 accepts three. A sealed space with none specified is an incomplete installation regardless of the price.
- Insurance, confirmed with the insurer. Not a certificate forwarded by the contractor. Call the carrier.
North Carolina requires a general contractor license where the cost of the undertaking reaches $40,000 — the threshold set in N.C.G.S. § 87-1. Many crawl space projects sit below that figure, so an unlicensed contractor is not automatically operating illegally. Verify any contractor's license number, classification and current standing with the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors directly, and confirm insurance with the insurer rather than accepting a certificate at face value.
